How To Improve Your Motor Control

By Charles Long

Motor control is a change from practice and routine activities. It involves an accuracy of movements both complex and simple the same as an environment changes. Motor learning is a permanent skill due to a person has the capability to respond appropriately retained and acquired. It has long been define in science as an energy intensive from of stimulus response that will result in robust neuronal modifications. When it concerns with motor control continuing education the body will improve especially the hand and eye coordination.

Fine motor skills require the uses of smaller muscles to perform small movements with the fingers, wrist, feet, toes and hands. These tasks require precision like writing carefully, blinking and playing the piano. This type could be impaired resulting from injury, illness, stroke, cerebral palsy, congenital deformities and developmental disabilities.

Proximodistal is the movement of limbs that are closer through the body develops earlier than parts further away. Like a baby learning to control their upper arm before fingers and hands. Fine movements of fingers are the last part that would develop on a body.

Researching is the only way to know the different techniques and procedures. A person will be able to learn new things when they are researching. Reading books and watching scientific information is needed to further your knowledge and capabilities. Getting referrals and suggestions from other people is appreciated as well.

Hand and eye coordination is important. Use scissors to cut. Using the scissors is a good exercise for constructing the fundamentals of hand and eye combination. Start by cutting down the papers with making any designs and then create lines to proceed. Start with the basics of straight lines then waves to zigzags. If you are having some difficulty, begin by cutting the straws which is easy to be cut.

Thread objects into a string. Get strings and begin winding objects inside it. You must thread different items like beads, macaroni and straws. Use a cord to make the threading easier and faster. Practice drawing shapes to improve your hand muscles and eye muscles. Use damaged crayons or pencils to improve your grip strength.

The associative phase is when the learner has determined the most sufficient way to make various adjustments in performances. Movements become more consistent and improvements are more gradual. And this phase last for a long time. The skills in this phase are efficient, aesthetically speaking and fluent.

Influences like vigilance have the same effect as fatigue. However, it is being caused by lack of arousal. Some tasks use actions that require high attention and little work. The gender influence plays and important role in the development of a child. Boys mainly focus on object manipulation while girls focus on stationary visual motorized skills.

Growth development makes the individuals body increase in size and parts as they progress towards maturity. The maturation refers to qualitative change that enables one to progress to high levels of functioning. In the childhood stages of development, gender differences can greatly influence motor skills.
