Understanding Spiritual Energy Healing Techniques

By Lelia Hall

There are several cultures that believe most any health concern can be fixed by making sure the invisible power field that surrounds their physical form is in tune and their chakras are aligned properly. In order for a person to operate at their best, all systems within the body need to be in perfect harmony. Many seek to solve bodily issues by readjusting their aura using spiritual energy healing methods and techniques.

Those who seek alternatives to traditional medical practices often turn to a variety of holistic methods to generate a harmonious aura. Most individuals who prefer the nature based techniques are looking to avoid having to take medications or resorting to surgeries to correct a number of health issues. Most of the procedures and beliefs stem back to several ancient civilizations and cultures.

The aura is comprised of layers of energies surrounding the body and resonating at certain frequencies. When an individual is in good health, both physically and emotionally, everything vibrates in harmony. If the person is feeling pain, stress or a particular organ is not functioning properly, there will be a disruption in the field which requires special attention.

The basis of each of these techniques is a belief that humans generate an invisible force that may be used to heal themselves or that might be focused to help another individual. Intensified positive intentions, thoughts and emotions are the key ingredients to many of these techniques. Any negativity can be a toxic influence and needs to be eradicated.

Several holistic methods are centered around keeping the chakras unblocked and in balance. This is an ancient Hindu belief that says there are seven wheels spinning along a person's spine, each corresponding to various nerves and systems within one's body. A blockage in one of these points causes an imbalance in the aura, signifies a health concern and requires a proper cleansing be performed.

Many are turning to a process known as Reiki, a system where the holistic healer focuses their own energies through their hands and into the vibrational force of another to correct health issues and imbalances. No physical contact is made as the practitioner is concentrating on connecting with the aura of the patient. It is believed this intense concentration of positivity can clear blockages in the chakras and restore a harmonic balance.

Similar to acupuncture, but with the absence of needles, acupressure is an ancient Chinese holistic method used quite commonly. One's fingers are used to press issue specific points on a body as a way to treat several conditions such as aches, pains, tension, stress and even arthritis. Targeted pressing of the muscles encourages proper blood flow, the release of endorphins and the stimulation of an individual's immune system.

Reflexology is another technique that is very similar to acupressure. This method states that the hands and feet contain points of contact to every other part body part, internal organ and operational system, and that by applying pressure on the correct spot, issues may be corrected. Each of these processes are practiced to help to restore a person's aura to prime conditions and allow them to heal many ailments without pharmaceuticals or painful surgeries.
