Many Individuals Now Discover Better Health By Taking Vitamin D3 With K2 Supplements

By Derick Scartel

Research studies indicate the importance of vitamin D for healthy bones. There are two serious conditions that are possible if the amount is insufficient. The elderly may have a higher incidence of osteoporosis and osteomalacia. It is unfortunate that people are not always aware that a Vitamin D3 Supplement can possibly avoid them.

Lower than average levels have now been linked to the risk of type 1 diabetes and a number of cancers, including breast cancer. The number of people taking medication for high blood pressure is large. It is suggested that this nutrient may assist in lowering that number.

Added to those findings are the possibility that it might reduce the incidence of a heart attack. Multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis may also be less likely to occur. Those who are exposed to sunlight regularly increase the level of D in their bodies. Hypertension may be reduced as reported after a study done at one major university.

A specific intake of the supplement K2 taken in conjunction with supplement D3 is reportedly able to promote strong bones and heart. A synergistic relationship exists between the two. It is also reported that K is essential for utilizing calcium within your body.

This process can be scientifically explained. But, simply stated, vitamin K decreases the incidence of bone damage due to osteoclasts, a kind of cell that damages the bone matrix. The combination of the nutrients K and D act together to protect the bones

Supplemental D3 and K2 in liquid form may be mixed with a beverage. It will not affect the taste. Taking both together is beneficial, while D without K may not be. When a study was done D alone was less beneficial. Also, the arteries in the neck were negatively affected.

This is understandable since the nutriment D helps to absorb calcium. Calcium makes strong bones and the supplement K2 works to direct the calcium to the skeleton. When calcium is prevented from being deposited in the arteries due to K2, it prevents or slows hardening of the arteries. That is an advantage to your health.
